Already for the 17th time the Swiss company FRUTIGER Company AG, with the well-known promise “a whale, a promise!”, was present at the bauma in hall B5/booth 224 and once again clearly underlined its worldwide leading role in the fields of wheel washing systems, dust control and demucking.
This year, a large focus was placed on the demucking division (rough cleaning of construction and military vehicles). FRUTIGER drew attention to the problems of laborious, time-consuming manual washing by hand with a dirty tracked vehicle at its booth. Demucking technology allows most of the dirt on wheeled and tracked vehicles to be removed automatically using low pressure and no cleaning agents. Numerous operators of large construction equipment fleets were highly interested in the automated solutions for cleaning their machines.
From the field of dust control, FRUTIGER presented a new, adaptive generation of dust control systems, developed with the support of the Institute of Aerodynamics of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. The modern MobyDick dust control systems work on the principle of dust control by means of very fine water droplets and offer outstanding efficiency with minimal noise emissions. Throw distance, spray pattern as well as water and power requirements can be freely selected and allow flexible reaction to changing operating conditions at any time.
Also on show was the MobyDick ONE wheel washing system – a system that can be individually adapted to customer needs. Thanks to new driving profiles and an improved nozzle position, as well as the flow-optimized geometry of the washing modules developed in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), the ONE can achieve a much higher washing power than a conventional wheel washing system. The functionality, quality and washing performance of this unique system convinces even very demanding customers.
FRUTIGER Company AG looks back on seven successful exhibition days, thanks all visitors for the interesting discussions and is looking forward to welcome you soon at the Conexpo in Las Vegas, the IFAT or the Steinexpo
