BACKGROUND
The owner is among the top 5 largest crushed stone producers in the USA. This project required a wheelwashing system due to new exit construction unto a high traffic high visibility public road near entertainment Casino and Amusement Park facilities. The customer required an automated drive-thru wheel and undercarriage Washing System specifically designed to clean articulated haul trucks and public road loaded aggregate trucks.
The project required the use of a temporary 10 ft wide MobyDick Model Kit Flex 800C 2 tire revolution wheel wash for 9 months pending the arrival of the custom manufactured MobyDick Tailor Made Series Quick Model 2-Tire Revolution 24 ft Long x 11.5 ft drive through Quick Model 732 x 3.5m. The Quick series system wash incorporates our closed loop recycling water system with MobyDick’s proven scraper-conveyor system automatically collecting, dewatering and discharging the settled solids. Due to the irregularities of the site terrain and the loaded trucks MobyDick Total Solutions Field Services Division provided consulting advice for the MobyDick equipment’s concrete foundations and field fit fabrications.
