FRUTIGER opens new manufacturing facility

On the 24. July the new manufacturing facility for Europe in the Czech Republic was inaugurated. A delegation from the Headquarters in Winterthur, including the President Urs Frutiger, was also in attendance.

Because of a world wide rise in demand for the different MobyDick products, the Assembly and Distribution Center (ADC) of the FRUTIGER Group has been operating closer and closer to the capacity limit of their facilities. To solve this problem a new compound, just meters away from the old one, was bought last year. The there existing infrastructure, two large factory halls and an office building, were expanded and modernized. The new facilities now provide very high working conditions and enable the FRUTIGER Group to expand it’s capabilities, as well as further professionalize it’s ISO 9001:2009 certified production.

In his speech Urs Frutiger expressed his gratitude for the employees and said that he is looking positively into the future. Together, the new facilities were then symbolically inaugurated. Afterwards all attending celebrated cheerfully till the evening.
