FRUTIGER with a first of its kind in the world at bauma 2016

This year is the 16th time the Swiss-based FRUTIGER Company AG has participated in the bauma trade fair in Munich. The innovation leader from Switzerland was once again able to inspire visitors with the MobyDick® ONE, the new standard for customised wheel-washing systems and a wide range of modern dust-binding solution.

The highlight at the FRUTIGER stand was undoubtedly the MobyDick® ONE, the first of its kind in the world, which sets the benchmark in the industry. Its innovative design, including the tried and tested range of optionally available accessories, enables further functions that once again increase the cleaning power and solve problems associated with public streets dirtied by construction vehicles and other vehicles. Last but not least, the expanded standard lengths of up to 20 metres play a major role here. The modified operational profiles and the nozzle position, the innovation of the modular side and floor nozzles which can be changed at any time, and the flow-optimised geometry of the washing modules developed in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) also proved persuasive. Now even tracked vehicles can be washed with the device. Shortly after the start of the trade fair, the FRUTIGER team was able to secure its first order for a MobyDick® ONE of 14 metres in length.

In addition to the wheel-washing systems, the modern solutions for binding dust from the MobyDick® brand were also quick to draw attention. For many building professionals, a quick glimpse was often enough to convince them that the MobyDick® Dust Control Cannons had nothing to do with another converted snow cannon, but rather with a machine developed for everyday operation on the construction site. In addition to its simple handling and high mobility, the patented rust-proof composite cone also took high marks. The cone can be aerodynamically shaped thanks to its high-quality appearance and workmanship, which enables an optimal spray mist with low energy consumption and reduced noise emissions. The high-quality Grundfos pump for the 30/50/60/70 models is able to exert pressures of up to 22 bar in order to produce a particularly high number of small droplets with low water consumption. All components are assembled on a galvanised frame and packed into a sturdy and easily accessible housing.

ith its advanced technology and practical solutions, FRUTIGER once again reaffirmed at the bauma trade fair its leading role in emission control for the construction industry. After seven successful days at the trade fair, the company thanked the numerous visitors and is already looking forward to a reunion in Munich at the IFAT in hall B2 at stand 228.
