FRUTIGER’s MobyDick KIT Flex 400 MB in operation at FCAB in the port of Antofagasta

Winterthur, Switzerland – FRUTIGER Company AG, the world’s leading supplier of innovative MobyDick brand wheel washing systems, is pleased to announce the successful implementation of the “KIT Flex 400 MB” at Ferrocarril de Antofagasta a Bolivia (FCAB). FCAB has a long history and plays a key role in the transport of goods and trade between Chile and Bolivia. The railway company was originally founded to facilitate the transport of mineral resources such as copper and silver from Bolivia to the Chilean coast. Today, FCAB is a major player in the region’s transport system.

The mobile wheel washing facility is used by FCAB in the port of Antofagasta and is used to clean the wheels of vehicles after transferring goods onto rail wagons before they travel on public roads again.
