FRUTIGER recently successfully installed a MobyDick wheel washing system, model ConLine KIT Plus 800B-50P, in Germany. The owner of this modern solution is a company operating in the earthworks, demolition, waste disposal and hydraulic engineering sectors. The stationary model not only impresses with its innovative technology, but also with its independence – the system is operated here at this customer’s site with an emergency power generator.
The powerful MobyDick wheel washing system is able to clean up to 250 heavily soiled trucks per day and therefore makes a significant contribution to clean public roads; a pioneering investment for efficient wheel washing.

Winterthur, Switzerland – FRUTIGER Company AG, the world’s leading supplier of innovative MobyDick brand wheel washing systems, is pleased to announce the successful implementation of the “KIT Flex 400 MB” at Ferrocarril de Antofagasta a Bolivia (FCAB). FCAB has a long history and plays a key role in the transport of goods and trade between Chile and Bolivia. The railway company was originally founded to facilitate the transport of mineral resources such as copper and silver from Bolivia to the Chilean coast. Today, FCAB is a major player in the region’s transport system.

A valued customer of MobyDick in the U.S., which operates several quarries in Pennsylvania and New York State, faced an acute problem. Approximately 300 trucks leave its quarries every day, and the quarries were particularly polluted due to the sandy production environment. This challenge was exacerbated by the fact that the trucks were traveling through a residential street, requiring an urgent solution.

During the installation and commissioning of a MobyDick ConLine KIT Plus 600B-50P wheel washing system in England, a few challenges were encountered but successfully overcome by the skilled FRUTIGER mechanics. In the end, the wheel washing system was installed flawlessly, which significantly increased customer satisfaction and opened the door for further orders from the customer at various locations. – A testament to the performance of the entire FRUTIGER team.

FRUTIGER Company recently sponsored three children at the Bengo Campo. Recently FRUTIGER was allowed to install a modern MobyDick wheel washing system of the model 800B-100P at a customer in Thuringia. To optimally adapt the system to the special conditions on site, some individual adjustments were made.

This year, the Open Air Gampel Festival not only stood for first-class music (Cypress Hill, Macklemore, among others), but also for a refreshing innovation that delighted visitors and even attracted the attention of Switzerland’s biggest daily newspaper. The MobyDick Cannon 60, a groundbreaking solution for cooling and well-being, has filled the festival grounds with pleasant coolness and joy.

FRUTIGER has worked with a well-known civil engineering company in the North Wales region on many emission control projects. Due to the extensive HS2 rail project, the company needed to relocate its existing site and at the same time upgrade its outdated wheel washing facilities. As part of this, the decision was made to install a MobyDick ConLine KIT Plus 600B-50P wheel washing system. Thanks to this MobyDick wheel washing system, it is now possible to clean the wheels of around 160 medium to heavily soiled trucks on a daily basis.
