Handover of a wheel washing system MobyDick ONE

Recently another wheel washing system MobyDick ONE with a length of 7.20 meters was handed over to a german customer near Ulm. The modern installation has a drastically improved washing performance compared to conventional wheel wash installations. The flow-optimised geometry of the washing modules, developed in cooperation with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH), enables an extraordinary high number of washing nozzles. The track profiles and nozzle position have also been optimised, which means that now even tracked vehicles can use the system. As an option two special nozzles (Powerflush) are used, which rinse the mudguards of the trucks reliably with up to 2500l per minute.

The integrated water recycling system consists of two 50m3 MobyDick recycling tanks, whereby one of the tanks is also equipped with an automatic sludge scraper conveyor, what ensures continuous desludging of the washing water. This not only improves the water quality but also reduces the manual cleaning effort of the tanks to a minimum.
