A leading Saudi Arabian company based in Al-Khobar has recently purchased and successfully commissioned a MobyDick SL Plus 600 wheel washing system. This investment is part of the company’s comprehensive strategy to reduce the environmental impact of outbound trucks while ensuring maximum operational efficiency.

A leading provider of waste management solutions in the UK, has successfully installed a MobyDick SL Plus 600MB-50P wheel washing system at one of its recycling and composting sites. This advanced system will ensure the cleaning of approximately 200 medium to heavily soiled trucks daily, including bin lorries, tippers, and articulated trucks, while meeting the specific site requirements.

In October 2023, a leading construction materials company approached FRUTIGER to find a solution for contamination issues at their quarry in New Braunfels, Texas. This charming city, known for its German cultural heritage, is surrounded by natural limestone formations and serves as an important hub for the construction materials industry.

A MobyDick Dragon wheel washing system was recently put into operation in Luxembourg. The construction site is located in a residential area where an underground parking garage is currently being built. An additional optical sensor was installed because, in addition to the outgoing trucks that need to be cleaned, trucks also drive backwards over the wheel washing system into the tunnel entrance. This prevents the car wash from being triggered unnecessarily in such cases and thus helps to optimize operation.

A few months ago, a MobyDick ONE 720 wheel washing system was installed at a quarry in Eastern Bohemia. The MobyDick ONE 720 is a model from our Tailor Made Line, specifically adapted to various operating conditions and capable of handling the highest levels of contamination. Since vehicles at the quarry are exposed daily to large amounts of dirt and dust, a solution was required that could withstand these extreme conditions.
The system includes two recycling tanks for washing water treatment, two galvanized drip pads, and a 7.2-meter-long washing element. Additionally, the Powerflush option (special nozzle) ensures thorough cleaning of the area between the wheel and fender – a patented innovation by FRUTIGER.

FRUTIGER is proud to have successfully exhibited at the Resource & Waste Management Expo (RWM) in Birmingham, held on September 11-12, 2024. The event brought together industry leaders and innovators focused on advancing sustainable waste, recycling and resource management practices.

FRUTIGER visited a customer in Oregon, US, to confirm project details and assess their needs. The landfill, located on a hillside and surrounded by environmentally sensitive agricultural businesses, aimed to reduce track-out, promoting environmental responsibility, and maintaining good relations with neighbors.

Due to concerns about the safety and cleanliness of the roads surrounding a large construction site in England, FRUTIGER was tasked by the responsible construction company with conducting a comprehensive analysis of the local conditions. The focus was on the pollution of public areas caused by truck traffic and potential solutions.
