bauma 2019: FRUTIGER Company AG presents the new generation of dust control

Stepless adjustment of the throwing distance for dust control cannons? No problem for the Swiss company and innovation leader FRUTIGER Company AG! At this year’s bauma in Munich, the company with the unmistakable whale logo presented the latest development from MobyDick®: The New Generation Models! In addition to this highlight, the proven MobyDick® wheel washing systems as well as solutions for the automatic cleaning of heavily soiled construction machines were found at the booth.

This year’s attraction at booth 224 in hall B5 was undoubtedly the New Generation models of the Cannon Line for dust control. The new systems were developed in collaboration with the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and, thanks to the latest technology, are also supported by the Innovation Promotion Agency of the Swiss Confederation. The innovative models have a range of functions that is unique in the world. In the 3060 and 3090 models, the throw distance, power consumption and noise emissions as well as the amount of water used can always be adapted precisely to the operating conditions. The high-performance cone developed with the ZHAW ensures the best efficiency. The water can be sprayed either through the nozzle ring (large area) or the nozzle head (concentrated). The droplet throw can thus be adapted to the respective operating conditions. The perfect solution for demanding applications with throwing distances between 10 and 90 metres.

In addition to this crowd-puller and the well-known MobyDick wheel washing systems, the FRUTIGER Company also presented its modern solutions for cleaning heavily soiled construction machines. This still young product area (demucking) met with great interest and numerous operators of large construction machinery fleets showed great interest in the automated solutions for cleaning their machines. The days of time-consuming and laborious manual cleaning of construction machinery seem to be numbered.

With its 16th participation at bauma Munich, FRUTIGER clearly underlined its worldwide leading role in the field of wheel washing systems, dust control and demucking. It is particularly pleasing that this year’s edition is one of the most successful trade fairs in the history of the Swiss company.
