From now on, the entire mobydick.com website can also be accessed in Russian. This is FRUTIGER’s response to the steadily increasing demand from the CIS countries. A few kilometres from FRUTIGER’s headquarters, the 12-storey bed tower of the Frauenfeld Hospital is currently being demolished. The work will continue until the end of August. A major challenge in this demanding project is that the work has to be carried out while the hospital is in operation. This includes regular arrivals and departures of the rescue helicopter. The demolition site is also located in the middle of a residential area and surrounded by numerous residents. Accordingly, reliable dust suppression is a high priority. For this reason, the demolition company in charge decided to use the technologically leading MobyDick dust control equipment. The model Cannon Cart NG supports the two demolition excavators, which work their way down floor by floor over a period of around six months.

For a construction site in the Swiss Valais, a mobile wheel washing system was recently needed in order not to pollute the public roads around the site. Within a few days, a MobyDick ConLine KIT Flex Mobile C with scraper conveyor was made available from the large FRUTIGER rental park for an operational period of several months. Thanks to minimal excavation work, the system could be installed within a few hours, which is a great advantage, especially for short-term use on construction sites.

FRUTIGER was recently commissioned by a long-standing customer in the Basque Country to replace an old MobyDick Quick wheel washing system with a new model from the MobyDick ONE line. The new ONE 720 system cleans much more effectively due to a completely new design with considerably more nozzles at the same length.The recycling tank was installed underneath the system to save space and minimise disruption to operational traffic. As the world market leader for wheel washing systems FRUTIGER is known for numerous large projects and wheel washing systems with lengths of up to 20 metres. However, the MobyDick product portfolio also includes much smaller systems for projects with moderate requirements for a wheel washing system. For example, the MobyDick Dragon, which is used wherever contamination is low or the problem is dust. The Dragon is capable of handling up to 100 vehicles per day and offers an excellent price/performance ratio.

FRUTIGER recently delivered a MobyDick ConLine KIT Flex Mobile Mobile B Wheel Washing System for the site of a large construction company in Leipzig. Thanks to minimal excavation work, the system can be installed within a few hours. It is therefore ideally suited for short assignments and frequent relocations.

The MobyDick Dragon is the smallest wheel washing system in the FRUTIGER product range. The system is used wherever the pollution is low, or the problem is dust. The Dragon is capable of handling up to 100 vehicles per day and offers an excellent price/performance ratio. These advantages have also convinced the operator of a quarry near Bergamo IT, to purchase such a system to keep the roads around the area clean. Within a few seconds, all vehicles leaving the plant are now properly cleaned from the bottom and the side.

In August 2020, FRUTIGER was asked by a Canadian waste management company to project a wheel washing system for a new waste management site in Bécancour, Quebec. Approximately 60-80 trucks need to be washed daily at the site, but frequencies of up to 120 vehicles are possible. After a detailed consultation, the customer decided to purchase a MobyDick ConLine KIT Plus 800C-50P wheel washing system. The installation took place within a few days and the customer was enthusiastic about the high quality of the purchased MobyDick system.

Mobile wheel washing systems have the advantage over systems permanently installed in the ground, that no major excavation is required, and the system can therefore be set up within only a few hours. However, since mobile systems also have disadvantages, FRUTIGER recommends the use of mobile systems only for shorter operations or if, for example, an installation in the ground is not possible due to pipelines. For a new building of the renowned Shepperton Film Studios in Shepperton (UK) a mobile system of the type ConLine KIT Flex Mobile C was requested by the customer and installed within a few hours by the MobyDick installation team. Once power and water are connected, up to 100 trucks can be cleaned daily to avoid pollution of public roads.
