For calming and guiding the washing water, a special wall in the middle of the first recycling tank is designed as a baffle plate, as well as a scraper conveyor with an ejection height of 2.75m above ground leve. The second recycling tank is dredged if necessary.
In addition, the system is equipped with double cargo moistening system. The second cargo moistening systems is drained via channels into the first recycling tank. The plant washes approx. 200 trucks per day and thus helps to keep the public roads clean!
Recently, FRUTIGER was awarded a contract to supply a tyre washing plant in England for a recycling company which operates a national network of recycling and reutilisation facilities to process construction waste and restore former brownfield sites.
The company is currently involved in the disposal of over 2.5 million tonnes of contaminated material such as asbestos, coal tar and invasive weeds. After an intensive evaluation phase and the analysis of various systems, the company decided in favour
of a mobile MobyDick Conline wheel washing system from FRUTIGER.
At the beginning of 2019 FRUTIGER was commissioned to install a MobyDick Wheel Washing System for an established aggregates company east of Birmingham. Due to the high level of satisfaction with the system, the company has recently ordered an additional system for another plant. A few days ago the MobyDick KIT Plus 800B-50 P system has been installed and is now capable to clean up to 150 medium to heavily soiled trucks in a few seconds.
In India, several MobyDick wheel washing and Demucking systems are already in operation. Now the first wheel washing system produced in the new plant in India has been handed over to the end customer Ayran Mining Cooperation. As it is customary in India, the expected traffic via the plant is very high. Therefore, in addition to the well-known MobyDick washing power, the robust fully galvanized design is very important. Zafar Iqbal, General Manager Frutiger India and his team are pleased about a positive development in India.
