The wheel washing systems of the model line KIT Flex stand for highest functionality and easy installation. The stationary model shown here with a passage length of 800cm can easily wash up to 200 heavily soiled trucks per day and now helps to keep public roads clean.

MobyDick ONE in a pack of two

FRUTIGER recently had the pleasure of installing two new wheel washing systems for a long-standing customer in Italy. The customer bought his first MobyDick wheel wash system in 2007, meanwhile there are already 7 of them in total. The client’s latest installation is two MobyDick ONE 360 systems. MobyDick ONE is the most modern and highest quality wheel washing system in the world. It can be perfectly adapted to customer needs in terms of washing power and water recycling. Approximately 50 trucks with medium soiling are washed here per system and day. With the appropriate equipment, however, ONE is capable of handling even the highest levels of contamination. The two systems were additionally ordered with the “Chassis Wash” option. While the nozzle configuration of the wheel wash system is geared to the needs of an optimal wheel wash, the “Chassis Wash” option allows the simultaneous intensive cleaning of the underbody.

Once again MobyDick is helping to keep public roads clean

For a company in Germany that has been active in civil engineering for more than 120 years, FRUTIGER was recently allowed to install a MobyDick ConLine KIT Flex 400MB mobile wheel washing system. The wheel washing system has a passage length of 800cm and can wash up to 150 trucks with medium heavy soiling every day. In order to adapt the MobyDick wheel washing systems to individual needs, FRUTIGER offers a wide range of options. The customer ordered the additional option “MobyDos Compact” for the system. With this dosing system, the addition of flocculant can be automated. The use of flocculant causes the dirt particles to settle quickly in the recycling tank. Settled sludge is stabilised and can be discharged by means of an excavator shovel, suction truck or scraper conveyor. Correct dosing is simplified and the flocculant can be fed directly into the washing process, thus optimising the mixing of the wash water with flocculant.

MobyDick wheel washing system in Wales

FRUTIGER recently installed a mobile MobyDick ConLine KIT Flex 400MC wheel washing system for a leading building materials company in the UK and Ireland at their new premises in a quiet town in Wales. The site is surrounded by residential and office buildings, so it was important to keep the roads clean outside the premises. The wheel washing system used has a galvanised 4 metre long washing module and a recycling tank with scraper conveyor for automatic dirt discharge. This makes the system ideally suited for light to medium soiled trucks and frequencies of up to 120 trucks per day.

MobyDick in Peru

As a global company and market leader for wheel washing systems, FRUTIGER is active in most countries worldwide. In South America, as well, the demand for modern solutions to keep public roads around construction sites and mines clean is increasingly growing. For example, the FRUTIGER branch in the USA recently installed a KIT Flex 400C wheel washing system for a copper mine in Peru. As one of the most modern wheel washing systems in the South American country, the system now reliably ensures clean roads around the mine.

MobyDick ConLine KIT Plus 800 B-100P at the landfill site

A MobyDick ConLine KIT Plus 800 B-100P wheel washing system was installed shortly before Easter for an earth and construction waste landfill site in the Ostalbkreis district in Germany.
A common problem around landfills is dirty public roads caused by departing trucks. To solve this, FRUTIGER offers various MobyDick wheel washing systems. The range extends from stationary to mobile, standard to customised and from rental to purchase. The MobyDick ConLine KIT Plus wheel washing systems from FRUTIGER stand for maximum functionality and simple installation. A stationary model was installed for this customer. The system is designed for up to 350 medium to heavily soiled trucks per day and now helps to keep public roads clean.

Help for the Ukraine

Since 24 February, the Ukrainian population has been suffering from the armed conflicts and fears for their uncertain future. The consequences of the ongoing and intensifying conflict for the civilian population are dramatic and the need for humanitarian aid is multiplying. As a sign of solidarity, FRUTIGER Company AG has decided to make a donation of 3,060 CHF to Swiss Solidarity.
Swiss Solidarity’s aid focuses on taking in refugees in neighbouring countries, especially Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Moldova. It is working closely with its Swiss partner organizations active in the region, assessing the situation and doing all it can to organize help. Every support counts.

MobyDick Wheel Washing System with Wheel Loader Tank

Recently, the MobyDick partner in Western Switzerland was commissioned to install a MobyDick ConLine KIT Plus 800 for a leading global cement company. The system was planned in close cooperation with the customer and in addition to a 50m3 recycling tank, it has also an intermediate concrete wheel loader tank. After each washing process, the majority of the washed-off dirt particles settle in this tank, whereupon the recycled water flows by means of an overflow into the following steel tank, where it is available again in high quality for further washing processes. The concrete tank can be excavated with minimal effort using a wheel loader.
